In the spring of 2022, OES Office Furniture delightedly announced our first ever ‘Transform Your Classroom’ contest was open to public, private, charter and magnet schools serving students in grades K-12 in the Southern California area. the ‘Transform Your Classroom’ contest set out to provide a space where students and teachers could learn and collaborate together in a flexible & engaging environment.

After reviewing submissions from school districts thoughout Southern California, 5th grade teacher, Mrs. Jessica Morten, was selected as the first ever winner of the OES ‘transform your classroom’ contest.

Mrs. Morten dreamed of teaching her students in a flexible space that would not only meet their needs, but also spark creativity through a combination of multiple learning areas and fun pops of color.

Mrs. Morten’s dream became a reality in the fall of 2022 when her classroom transformed to include a soft seating area for collaboration, a mobile whiteboard table for creativity, bright storage pieces, coordinating student desks and chairs, and a new teacher desk & lectern.
